Googling the candidates
Frank Bowe has just posted a comment to the article we posted last week on Ragged Edge about the midterm elections -- he notes that Google now has stars on its maps that provide information about candidates for Congressional office. The link Bowe provides is to yesterday's Post I.T. blog from The Washington Post.
In Google Gets Political, blogger Sara Goo writes,
The most practical feature is the link in each box to a Web site often used by reporters, the Center for Responsive Politics. Here, you can check out the political contributions each candidate has received and follow the money yourself.
Before you do the Google bit, be sure to read Frank's article again.
