Gallaudet students get on-campus video phones
The Gallaudet campus has 10 new video phones. Called "point-to-point video calling," the technology requires no sign language interpreters -- callers can communicate in sign language directly with others who have access to video phone equipment. Of course the phones can also be used for the more traditional voice relay calling, says Sorensen Communications, who just finished installing the phones.
