Deaf UPS Workers' Win Put On Hold by Judge

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 15, 2004 --Deaf UPS workers have yet to get a shot at applying to be drivers, following Monday's action by U.S. District Judge Thelton Henderson. In October, Henderson ruled that United Parcel Service's policy barring tdeaf and hearing-impaired workers from driving parcel delivery trucks violates the Americans with Disabilities Act.
