Judge OK's Amtrak $200 extra fee for wheelchair riders
PHILADELPHIA, JUNE 24, 2005-- Amtrak can charge wheelchair users extra to ride, if more than one wants to ride in the same cabin. The Americans with Disabilities Act, says a federal judge, requires Amtrak to have only one wheelchair space per per passenger coach.
