ADAPT shuts down NY Health Dept. in Olmstead protest
ALBANY, NY, Feb. 7, 2002 -- Hundreds of ADAPT protesters from Rochester and surrounding communities took over Corning Tower in Albany, NY, headquarters of the New York State Health Departmen, blocking the elevator towers and shutting off accesss as they insisted the state has not done enough to implement the Supreme Court¹s Olmstead decision."
