U.S. Reps Urge Change in In-Home Restriction
WASHINGTON, DC, JUNE 27, 2005-- Over 60 members of Congress, led by Congressmen Jim Langevin (D-RI), have signed onto a letter sent to Health and Human Services Secretary Michael Leavitt on last week, urging him to modify Medicare's current "in the home restriction" -- which limits coverage of mobility devices to "only those that are necessary within the patients home."
