Access advocates win Pacifica bylaws vote
NEW YORK, March 17, 2003 -- A vote taken last weekend on the prposed new bylaws for Pacifica Radio Foundation was a win for access. Board members voted 12-1 for Article 7 Section 9 of its new bylaws to read ""All public meeting of the Board and all committees shall be held in spaces fully accessible as defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act and any other applicable state and federal laws."
