Voting Access Bill Is Not Good Enough, Advocates Say
WASHINGTON, DC, Dec. 6, 2001 -- U.S. Representatives Bob Ney of Ohio and Steny Hoyer of Maryland have drafted a measure that would require all 50 states to provide polling places that comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and the Voting Accessibility for the Elderly and Handicapped Act of 1984.
